Giancarlo Zarattini, born and raised in Milan, flew to Paris with a Bocconi Degree in Finance, finding
his way in the rude world of brokerage.
Back to Italy and after more than 15 years spent in the investment banking, he decided in 2014 to discover an over side of the "street" .... It's the birth of The Rollingstar, the first Italian Gourmet truck launched with starred Michelin Chef Felice Lo Basso.
After a successful trial period in EXPO, the activity went full steam with the second truck Gong Express, serving Asian specialities, Pad Thai, Dumplings or Bao Burgers, all prepared in Meeting Services Premises.
At Gong Express ingredients are carefully selected to ensure the most authentic Asian cuisine. Gong Express believes in conscientious sourcing of quality ingredients, mostly from local producers, with consideration given to the environment and food waste.
The key values of Gong Express are a love for cooking and a desire to help people enjoy wonderful flavours.
In addition to street food, Gong Express can offer catering services for between 10 and more than 100 people through an associated company that provides catering for events.
