Paul Smith Stripe Collection

Paul Smith Stripe

Paul Smith is famous for its colourful stripes. As a recurring feature of every Paul Smith collection, stripes have been a calling card ever since Paul showed his first men’s collection at Paris Fashion Week in 1976.

In the early-1990s Paul aimed to create the ultimate stripe. The Signature Stripe that he designed, which featured twenty eight unique colours, became a runaway success and is still recognised as part of the company’s DNA.

More recently, the Artist Stripe is the latest addition to the Paul Smith stripe family. With colours inspired by expressionist painting, the Artist Stripe appears as an accent on shirt cuffs and jacket zip guards, or as a bold all-over print on socks, ties and leather accessories.

To celebrate the launch, Paul’s signature striped Mini Cooper will also be visiting the Stripe Shop for a short time.
